I have been publishing papers in Antioxidants for the last few years, since it has an excellent citation index, is freely available online, and encourages sharing on sites like ResearchGate. These activities promote online “reads” and an enhanced citation rate. Moreover, the peer-review process is continually improving. It is less cumbersome and has a very reasonable turn-around timeframe. Moreover, the Assistant Editors/staff quickly answer any questions and provide remarkedly helpful proofreading of the semi-final manuscript.
