Background/Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate baseline health measurements among transitional housing residents (n = 29) participating in an 8-week pilot wellness intervention. Methods: Researchers measured anthropometrics, body composition, muscular strength, cardiovascular indicators, physical activity, diet quality, and health-related perceptions. Researchers analyzed data using descriptive statistics and conventional content analysis. Results: Most participants were male, White, and food insecure. Mean BMI (31.8 ± 8.6 kg/m2), waist-to-hip ratio (1.0 ± 0.1 males, 0.9 ± 0.1 females), body fat percentage (25.8 ± 6.1% males, 40.5 ± 9.4% females), blood pressure (131.8 ± 17.9/85.2 ± 13.3 mmHg), and daily step counts exceeded recommended levels. Absolute grip strength (77.1 ± 19.4 kg males, 53.0 ± 15.7 kg females) and perceived general health were below reference standards. The Healthy Eating Index-2020 score (39.7/100) indicated low diet quality. Common barriers to healthy eating were financial constraints (29.6%) and limited cooking/storage facilities (29.6%), as well as to exercise, physical impediments (14.8%). Conclusions: Residents living in transitional housing have less favorable body composition, diet, and grip strength measures, putting them at risk for negative health outcomes. Wellness interventions aimed at promoting improved health-related outcomes while addressing common barriers to proper diet and exercise among transitional housing residents are warranted. Colorectal cancer (CRC) constitutes a major global health concern, ranking as the third most common cancer and the second leading cause of cancer-related mortality. The current review explores sex-based differences in CRC epidemiology, risk factors, tumor biology, and clinical outcomes. Males exhibit a higher incidence and mortality rate, with left-sided (distal) CRC predominating, while females are more frequently diagnosed with right-sided (proximal) tumors, which tend to be more aggressive and less responsive to conventional chemotherapy. Genetic disparities, including microsatellite instability and X-chromosome tumor suppressor genes, contribute to sex-specific differences in tumor progression and treatment response. Immune variations also influence disease outcomes, with females exhibiting stronger immune surveillance but higher exhaustion markers. Lifestyle factors such as body mass index (BMI), smoking, and hormonal influences further modulate CRC risk. While males are more vulnerable to obesity-related CRC, central obesity (waist-to-hip ratio) emerges as a stronger predictor in females. Additionally, smoking increases CRC risk differentially by tumor location. These findings underscore the importance of sex-specific approaches in CRC prevention, screening, and treatment, advocating for personalized medicine strategies tailored to gender-based biological and clinical distinctions. Background: The consumption of coffee has been widely debated regarding its effects on health. This study aims to analyze the correlations between daily coffee intake and sleep, blood pressure, anthropometric measurements, and biochemical markers in individuals with type 2 diabetes (T2D) and hypertension over a 12-month period. Methods: An observational study was conducted with 40 participants with T2D and hypertension, comprising 20 females and 20 males. Participants were monitored for their daily coffee consumption over a 12-month period, being assessed every 3 months. Linear regression was utilized to assess interactions and relationships between variables, providing insights into potential predictive associations. Additionally, correlation analysis was performed using Pearson’s and Spearman’s tests to evaluate the strength and direction of linear and non-linear relationships. Statistical significance was set at p < 0.05. Results: Significant changes were observed in fasting blood glucose (FBG), glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), body weight, body mass index, sleep duration, nocturnal awakenings, and waist-to-hip ratio (p < 0.05) over the 12-month study in both sexes. No significant differences were noted in the remaining parameters (p > 0.05). The coffee consumed by the participants was of the “traditional type” and contained sugar (2 g per cup) for 100% of the participants. An intake of 4.17 ± 0.360 cups per day was found at baseline and 5.41 ± 0.316 cups at 12 months (p > 0.05). Regarding correlation analysis, a higher coffee intake was significantly associated with shorter sleep duration in women (r = −0.731; p = 0.037). Conversely, greater coffee consumption correlated with lower LDL cholesterol (LDL-C) levels in women (r = −0.820; p = 0.044). Additionally, a longer sleep duration was linked to lower FBG (r = −0.841; p = 0.031), HbA1c (r = −0.831; p = 0.037), and LDL-C levels in women (r = −0.713; p = 0.050). No significant correlations were observed for the other parameters in both sexes (p > 0.05). Conclusions: In women, coffee consumption may negatively affect sleep duration while potentially offering beneficial effects on LDL-C levels, even when sweetened with sugar. Additionally, a longer sleep duration in women appears to be associated with improvements in FBG, HbA1c, and LDL-C. These correlations emphasize the importance of a balanced approach to coffee consumption, weighing both its potential health benefits and drawbacks in postmenopausal women. However, since this study does not establish causality, further randomized clinical trials are warranted to investigate the underlying mechanisms and long-term implications—particularly in the context of T2D and hypertension. Although evidence suggests adiposity as a modifiable risk factor for postmenopausal breast cancer (BC), its association with premenopausal BC remains uncertain. This potential differential relationship for menopausal status has been insufficiently investigated in the Moroccan population due to limited data. This study aims to assess the relationship between various indicators of adiposity and the risk of BC among Moroccan women by menopausal status. A multicenter case-control study was conducted in Morocco between December 2019 and August 2023, including 1400 incident BC cases and 1400 matched controls. Detailed measures of adiposity and self-reported measures from different life stages were collected. Unconditional logistic regression analyses were conducted to estimate odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) for the association between body size indicators and the risk of BC, adjusting for a range of known risk factors for BC. Higher waist circumference (WC) and hip circumference (HC) were associated with an increased risk of BC in both pre- (p-trend < 0.001 for both WC and HC) and post-menopausal women (p-trend < 0.001 for WC, 0.002 for HC). Current body mass index (BMI) ≥30 kg/m2 increased the risk of postmenopausal BC (p-trend = 0.012). Among postmenopausal women, higher weight at age 20 was positively associated with BC risk (p-trend < 0.001), while, weight at age 30 was significantly associated with increased BC risk in both pre- (p-trend = 0.008) and post-menopausal women (p-trend = 0.028). Interestingly, weight gain since age 20 was inversely associated with BC risk in postmenopausal women in the adjusted model (p-trend = 0.006). Young-adult BMI observed a significant increased trend with BC risk in both pre- (p-trend = 0.008) and post-menopausal women (p-trend < 0.001). In premenopausal women, larger body shape during childhood and early adulthood was positively associated with BC risk (p-trend = 0.01 and = 0.011, respectively). In postmenopausal women, larger childhood and adolescent body silhouettes were also associated with increased BC risk (p-trend = 0.045 and 0.047, respectively). These results suggest that anthropometric factors may have different associations with pre- and post-menopausal BC among Moroccan women. This underscores the importance of conducting large prospective studies to better understand these findings and explore their links to different molecular subtypes of BC. Full article

Background/Objectives: Job stress negatively affects physical and psychological health and can lead to behavioral changes such as unhealthy eating. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between job stress levels, adherence to the Mediterranean diet, and the phytochemical index (PI). Methods: The study included 200 healthy individuals aged 18–50 working at the Tuzla Gum Factory. Data were collected through demographic and dietary questionnaires, two-day 24-h food records, PI values, and anthropometric measurements. Job stress was assessed using the Job Stress Scale, and Mediterranean diet adherence was assessed with the Mediterranean Diet Adherence Questionnaire. Results: Waist and hip circumference, waist/hip ratio, and BMI were significantly higher in individuals with high levels of job stress (p < 0.01). Unskilled workers reported higher stress than professionals (p < 0.01). Significant differences were found in carbohydrate and fiber intake among males and in energy, protein, carbohydrate, and vitamin A intake among females with varying stress levels (p < 0.01). No significant difference in Mediterranean diet adherence was observed between medium and high stress groups. However, women had higher adherence and PI scores than men (p < 0.01). Diet adherence was better among managers than service-sales and technical staff (p < 0.01). PI scores were higher in medium stress than high stress individuals (p < 0.05) and in those with a higher BMI compared to a normal BMI (p < 0.01). Conclusions: Job stress influences both anthropometric parameters and dietary habits. Effective stress management may improve adherence to the Mediterranean diet and phytochemical intake. Workplace strategies supporting healthy eating behaviors are recommended. Full article

Background: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a prevalent endocrine disorder characterized by excess body weight, hyperandrogenism, hyperglycemia, and insulin resistance often resulting in hirsutism and infertility. Dietary strategies have been shown to ameliorate metabolic disturbances, hormonal imbalances, and inflammation associated with PCOS. Recent evidence indicates that intermittent fasting (IF) could effectively enhance health outcomes and regulate circadian rhythm; however, its impact on PCOS remain unclear. Objective: Therefore, this systematic review and meta-analysis aims to examine the effect of IF on women diagnosed with PCOS. Methods: Comprehensive research was conducted across three major databases including PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science without date restrictions. Meta-analysis was performed using Cochrane Review Manager Version 5.4 software. Results: Five studies fulfilled the inclusion criteria. IF significantly reduced body weight (MD = −4.25 kg, 95% CI: −7.71, −0.79; p = 0.02), BMI (MD = −2.05 kg/m2, 95% CI: −3.26, −0.85; p = 0.0008), fasting blood glucose (FBG; MD = −2.86 mg/dL, 95% CI: −4.83, −0.89; p = 0.004), fasting blood insulin (FBI; MD = −3.17 μU/mL, 95% CI: −5.18, −1.16; p = 0.002), insulin resistance (HOMA-IR; MD = −0.94, 95% CI: −1.39, −0.50; p < 0.0001), triglycerides (TG; MD = −40.71 mg/dL, 95% CI: −61.53, −19.90; p = 0.0001), dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEA-S; MD = −33.21 μg/dL, 95% CI: −57.29, −9.13; p = 0.007), free androgen index (FAI; MD = −1.61%, 95% CI: −2.76, −0.45; p = 0.006), and C-reactive protein (CRP; MD = −2.00 mg/L, 95% CI: −3.15, −0.85; p = 0.006), while increasing sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG; SMD = 0.50, 95% CI: 0.22, 0.77; p = 0.004). No significant changes were observed in waist-to-hip ratio (WHR), total cholesterol (TC), LDL, HDL, total testosterone (TT), or anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH). Conclusions: IF represents a promising strategy for improving weight and metabolic, hormonal, and inflammatory profiles in women with PCOS. However, the existing evidence remains preliminary, necessitating further robust studies to substantiate these findings. Full article

Optical sensor technologies are reshaping obesity detection by enabling non-invasive, dynamic analysis of biomechanical and morphological biomarkers. This review synthesizes recent advances in three key areas: optical gait analysis, vision-based pose estimation, and depth-sensing voxel modeling. Gait analysis leverages optical sensor arrays and video systems to identify obesity-specific deviations, such as reduced stride length and asymmetric movement patterns. Pose estimation algorithms—including markerless frameworks like OpenPose and MediaPipe—track kinematic patterns indicative of postural imbalance and altered locomotor control. Human voxel modeling reconstructs 3D body composition metrics, such as waist–hip ratio, through infrared-depth sensing, offering precise, contactless anthropometry. Despite their potential, challenges persist in sensor robustness under uncontrolled environments, algorithmic biases in diverse populations, and scalability for widespread deployment in existing health workflows. Emerging solutions such as federated learning and edge computing aim to address these limitations by enabling multimodal data harmonization and portable, real-time analytics. Future priorities involve standardizing validation protocols to ensure reproducibility, optimizing cost-efficacy for scalable deployment, and integrating optical systems with wearable technologies for holistic health monitoring. By shifting obesity diagnostics from static metrics to dynamic, multidimensional profiling, optical sensing paves the way for scalable public health interventions and personalized care strategies. Background: Childhood obesity is a significant public health issue linked to poor diet, low physical activity, and limited access to supportive environments. Green schoolyards may promote physical activity and improve health outcomes. This study evaluated the impact of the Green Healthy Primary School of the Future (GHPSF) intervention—greening schoolyards—on children’s BMI z-scores, waist circumference, and hip circumference over 18 months, and compared these effects to those observed in the earlier Healthy Primary School of the Future (HPSF) initiative. Methods: This longitudinal quasi-experimental study included two intervention and two control schools in Limburg, a province both in the Netherlands and Belgium. Children aged 8–12 years (n = 159) were assessed at baseline, 12 months, and 18 months for anthropometric outcomes. Linear mixed models were used to estimate intervention effects over time, adjusting for sex, age, country, and socioeconomic background. Standardized effect sizes (ESs) were calculated. Results: The intervention group showed a greater reduction in BMI z-scores at 12 months (ES = −0.15, p = 0.084), though this was not statistically significant. Waist circumference increased in both groups, but less so in the intervention group, at 12 months (ES = −0.23, p = 0.057) and 18 months (ES = −0.13, p = 0.235). Hip circumference and waist–hip ratio changes were minimal and non-significant. GHPSF effect sizes were comparable to or greater than those from the HPSF initiative. Conclusions: Though not statistically significant, trends suggest that greening schoolyards may support favorable changes in anthropometric outcomes. Further research with larger samples and longer follow-up is recommended. Full article

Background: Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease frequently associated with systemic comorbidities. Human neutrophil peptides 1–3 (HNP1–3), released by neutrophils, have both antimicrobial and proinflammatory effects and may contribute to the pathogenesis of psoriasis and its related conditions. The aim of this study was to evaluate the serum levels of HNP1–3 in patients with psoriasis compared with healthy controls and to assess their association with selected comorbidities and clinical parameters. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, forty-nine patients with psoriasis and forty-nine matched healthy controls were enrolled. Serum HNP1–3 levels were measured using ELISA. Clinical data, including waist-to-hip ratio (WHR), smoking status, and the presence of comorbidities such as psoriatic arthritis (PsA), cardiovascular disease, and pulmonary or autoimmune disorders, were recorded. Results: The mean HNP1–3 levels were significantly higher in the psoriasis patients than in the controls (3.85 ± 0.76 vs. 2.52 ± 0.84 ng/mL; p < 0.001), especially in patients with concomitant PsA (4.21 ± 0.69 ng/mL). Multivariable regression identified increased WHR (β = 1.77, p < 0.01) and smoking (β = 0.45, p < 0.001) as independent predictors of elevated HNP1–3 levels. Positive correlations were also found between HNP1–3 and ESR (r = 0.505, p = 0.019) and IL-6 (r = 0.561, p = 0.008). Conclusions: The elevated serum HNP1–3 levels identified in psoriasis patients—especially those with PsA, central obesity, and smoking history—suggest their potential utility as biomarkers of systemic inflammation. These findings highlight the systemic nature of psoriasis and warrant further research into the clinical utility of HNP1–3 in disease monitoring and risk stratification. Full article

This study aimed to explore the association between cardiometabolic phenotypes—specifically, metabolically unhealthy normal weight (MUHNW) and metabolically unhealthy obese (MUHO)—and various cardiovascular risk indices including the triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index and its derivatives, the atherogenic index of plasma (AIP), the cardiometabolic index (CMI), and the cardiac risk ratio (CRR). A total of 300 participants were evaluated (100 with prediabetes and 200 with T2DM). Anthropometric, biochemical, and lifestyle parameters were assessed and stratified across phenotypes. The results demonstrated that cardiovascular risk indices were significantly elevated in the MUHO compared to MUHNW phenotypes, with T2DM patients consistently exhibiting higher risk profiles than their prediabetic counterparts. TyG-derived indices showed strong correlations with BMI, waist–hip ratio (WHR), waist–height ratio (WHtR), and body fat percentage (%BF). The findings suggest that cardiometabolic phenotypes are more strongly associated with elevated cardiometabolic risk indices than body weight alone. These indices may enhance early risk stratification and intervention efforts. The study investigates the association of cardiometabolic phenotypes with surrogate cardiovascular risk indices, not direct CVD outcomes, However, the cross-sectional design and population homogeneity limit the generalizability of the results and preclude causal inference. Investigating the Mediating Role of Cardiometabolic Traits in the Causal Link Between SHBG Levels and Stroke Risk via Network Mendelian Randomization

The causal nature of sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) in the pathogenesis of stroke remains uncertain. We explored whether SHBG levels are causally associated with stroke via cardiometabolic traits. A network two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) study was conducted to determine the mediating roles of cardiometabolic traits in the causal effects of SHBG levels on stroke subtypes. Further two-sample MR analyses were performed to explore the inverse associations between significant cardiometabolic mediators and SHBG levels. The MR results indicated a protective effect of genetically increased SHBG levels on any stroke (odd ratio [OR] = 0.941; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.898, 0.984), any ischemic stroke (OR = 0.951; 95% CI: 0.922, 0.981), and small-vessel stroke (OR = 0.871; 95% CI: 0.765, 0.977). Moreover, genetically elevated SHBG levels were associated with lower waist circumference (WC, β = −0.091; 95% CI: −0.136, −0.046), waist-to-hip ratio (WHR, β = −0.057; 95% CI: −0.084, −0.030), triglycerides (TG, β = −0.188; 95% CI: −0.249, −0.127), systolic blood pressure (β = −0.799; 95% CI: −1.068, −0.530), and diastolic blood pressure (β = −0.436; 95% CI: −0.605, −0.267), and a reduced risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus (OR = 0.684; 95% CI: 0.400, 0.968) in both the discovery and replication datasets. The proportions of such cardiometabolic traits that mediated the causal effects of SHBG levels on any stroke, any ischemic stroke, or small-vessel stroke ranged from 17.8% to 52.7%; while the mediating effects of SHBG levels on the causal associations between WC, WHR, and TG and stroke ranged from 18.4% to 68.3%. Our findings suggest a protective effect of genetically elevated SHBG levels on stroke risk via key cardiometabolic mediators, primarily WC, WHR, and TG. The mediating roles of SHBG levels in the causal links from WC, WHR and TG to stroke risk were also established. These pathways support SHBG as a potential biomarker and therapeutic target in stroke prevention. Full article

Background/Objectives: Hashimoto thyroiditis (HT) is an autoimmune disease affecting the thyroid, often leading to hypothyroidism, even in individuals with adequate iodine intake. Despite achieving biochemical euthyroidism through levothyroxine (LT4) therapy, many patients continue to experience persistent symptoms, likely due to ongoing thyroid autoimmunity. Photobiomodulation (PBM) has shown promise in treating autoimmune conditions, but its effect on thyroid volume (TV) remains unclear. This study aimed to assess the efficacy of PBM combined with supplements in restoring thyroid function and normalising TV compared to the use of supplements alone. Methods: Ninety-eight females aged 20–50 years old were divided into two groups: Group 1 received PBM and supplements and Group 2 received supplements only. The PBM parameters were as follows: 820 nm wavelength, 200 mW power, continuous mode, 20 s per point at 8 points (32 J/cm2 per point), twice weekly for three weeks. Both groups received vitamin D3 supplementation (if serum < 40 ng/dL) and 100 µg of oral selenium daily. Results: Ninety-seven participants completed the study (51 in Group 1, 46 in Group 2). Group 1 showed significantly greater improvements in TV normalisation and weight loss and reductions in BMI, waist/hip circumference, waist-to-hip ratio, TSH, anti-TPO, anti-TG, and LT4 dosage (p < 0.05). Conclusions: This study demonstrates that low-fluence PBM combined with supplements can effectively improve thyroid function, reduce TV, and enhance anthropometric and clinical outcomes in HT patients. The protocol holds potential for broader application and further validation in larger trials. Full article

Background/Objectives: Metabolic syndrome (Mets) risk is influenced by both parents’ preconception lifestyle, yet most interventions target individuals rather than couples. True couples-based interventions that engage both partners equally remain rare. This study aimed to assess the feasibility and adherence of a 10-week lifestyle intervention delivered to heterosexual couples in the preconception period. Methods: This was a pre-post mixed-methods study involving eight nulliparous, cohabiting couples (N = 16 participants) planning a pregnancy within three years. Couples received tailored dietary and physical activity advice via remote sessions. Qualitative data were collected through post-intervention dyadic interviews and thematically analysed to explore participants’ experiences and perspectives on feasibility and adherence. Quantitative data on anthropometry, dietary intake (serves from five food groups), and sedentary behaviour were descriptively analysed. Wilcoxon signed-rank tests were used to assess changes in paired outcomes. Results: qualitative findings highlighted shared motivation, mutual accountability, cultural barriers, and the practicality of the intervention structure. All couples completed the intervention (100% retention). Among participants who required change, improvements were observed in all eight individuals for body mass index and in five out of seven individuals for waist-to-hip ratio. Statistically significant improvements were found in BMI (p = 0.027) and grain intake (p = 0.002), while other dietary and anthropometric changes were not significant. Dietary improvements were noted in 43 out of 80 observations across vegetables, fruits, grains, protein, and dairy intake. Sedentary hours were reduced in 12 of 16 participants, though increases in physical activity intensity were limited. Conclusions: A true-couples-based lifestyle intervention is feasible and acceptable in the preconception period. The approach shows potential for improving diet and reducing sedentary behaviour. Future research with a larger sample and longer duration is recommended to assess long-term effectiveness and broader applicability. Full article

Background: The Mediterranean diet is considered one of the healthiest and safest diets for preventing chronic diseases. The primary objective of this study was to assess the association between adherence to the Mediterranean diet and the occurrence of prediabetes in a representative population of Bialystok, Poland. Prediabetes is a condition characterized by elevated blood glucose levels that are higher than normal but not yet in the diabetic range, indicating an increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Methods: The study participants were selected into healthy control (HC) and prediabetic (PreD) groups based on age and gender. Biochemical measurements included total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), triglycerides (TG), fasting glucose (FG), glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), interleukin-6 (IL-6). Additionally, blood pressure, handgrip strength, anthropometric parameters, and body composition were measured. Information on patients’ social data, medical history, and lifestyle history was collected using questionnaires developed for this study. A standardized questionnaire, the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), was used to assess life satisfaction. Dietary total antioxidant capacity (DTAC) and dietary total polyphenol intake (DTPI) were determined using a 3-day nutritional interview and appropriate databases containing information on polyphenols and the antioxidant potential of food products. To assess adherence to the Mediterranean diet recommendations, a 9-item Mediterranean Diet Index (MDI) was used. Results: It was found that the mean MDI for the entire group was low (3.98 ± 1.74), and the HC was characterized by a significantly higher MDI compared to the PreD. A statistically significant positive correlation was found between MDI and HDL-C, whereas a negative correlation was found between MDI and FG, homeostatic model assessment for insulin resistance (HOMA-IR), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), IL-6, body mass index (BMI), waist-hip ratio (WHR), waist circumference, visceral fat mass, android/gynoid fat ratio. Conclusions: Abdominal obesity was shown to significantly reduce life satisfaction. In model 3, after adjusting for age, sex, dietary energy intake, alcohol consumption, and smoking, each additional MDI point indicated a 10% lower risk of prediabetes. Full article

Investigating the Sexual Dimorphism of Waist-to-Hip Ratio and Its Associations with Complex Traits

Background: Obesity significantly impacts disease burden, with waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) as a key obesity indicator, but the genetic and biological pathways underlying WHR, particularly its sex-specific differences, remain poorly understood. Methods: This study explored WHR’s sexual dimorphism and its links to complex traits using cross-sectional surveys and genetic data from Giant and UK Biobank (UKB). We analyzed WHR heritability, performed tissue-specific transcriptome-wide association studies (TWAS) using FUSION, and conducted genetic correlation analyses with linkage disequilibrium score regression (LDSC) and Local Analysis of [co]Variant Association (LAVA). Polygenic scores (PGS) for WHR were constructed using the clumping and thresholding method (CT), and associations with complex traits were assessed via logistic or linear models. Results: The genetic analysis showed sex-specific heritability for WHR, with TWAS identifying female-specific (e.g., CCDC92) and male-specific (e.g., UQCC1) genes. Global genetic correlation analysis revealed sex-specific associations between WHR and 23 traits, while local analysis identified eight sex-specific loci across five diseases. Regression analysis highlighted sex-specific associations for 70 traits with WHR and 45 traits with WHR PGS, with stronger effects in females. Predictive models also performed better in females. Conclusions: This study underscores WHR’s sexual dimorphism and its distinct associations with complex traits, offering insights into sex-specific biological differences, health management, and clinical advancements.
