Workshop on Novel Viruses Associated with Human Cancer

A workshop on Novel Viruses Associated with Human Cancer will be held on August 19-21, 2010, at the Graves Mountain Lodge, Syria, VA.  Viruses have an etiologic role in 20-25% of human cancers, and it is possible that additional viruses may also be involved. The workshop will bring investigators working on established human cancer viruses with those studying novel human viruses that may be associated with human cancers.  The goal is to promote exchange among workers on these different viruses, in which experiences from established cancer viruses provide perspectives for the new candidate cancer viruses.
The meeting will begin on Thursday evening and conclude on Saturday evening after dinner. Registration includes lodging for the nights of August 19, 20 and 21, allowing for departure on Sunday, August 22nd.  Registrants are invited to submit abstracts for posters and selected oral presentations.
