DNA Tumour Virus Meeting
The DNA Tumour Virus Meeting is the primary international conference for scientists studying the molecular biology of adeno, polyoma, and papillomaviruses; all important human pathogens which are the cause of several human cancers. Furthermore, these DNA tumour viruses represent model systems for understanding many fundamental processes in mammalian cells. For example, it is through their study that the critical tumour suppressors p53 and pRb were first discovered.
