Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Digital innovation is transforming organizations and societies, compelling firms to rethink their business models, structures, and value creation within increasingly complex systems. This Special Issue provides a multidisciplinary forum to examine how digital innovation drives business model transformation and systemic change across organizational, industrial, and societal contexts.
We invite contributions that adopt a systems perspective, integrating technological, strategic, organizational, and institutional dimensions. Topics include digital transformation, business model innovation, platform and coopetition ecosystems, value co-creation, service systems, organizational resilience, sustainable growth, and the governance of complex socio-technical systems. Empirical, theoretical, and methodological studies, as well as cross-disciplinary approaches, are especially welcome.
By connecting diverse perspectives, this Special Issue aims to advance understanding of how digital innovation enables adaptive, resilient, and competitive organizations, contributing to sustainable economic and social development.
