Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Achieving sustainable development in energy economics is a critical challenge facing countries worldwide. It not only calls for a deep transformation in all aspects of society, including the economy, culture, ecology, and so on, but also exerts a profound influence on them. Therefore, it is crucial to clarify the relationship between various determinants and energy indicators, such as economic growth, technological innovation, industrial structure adjustment, policy mechanism design, financial market guidance, and social behavioral change.

Therefore, this Special Issue explores the approaches of energy economics to sustainable development from various perspectives through various topics. We encourage researchers to contribute their experimental, computational, theoretical, and empirical research relating to energy transition, renewable energy development, ecological protection, environmental economics, sustainable development, and energy finance, in addition to climate change and climate risks.

In this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following:

(1) Sustainable development in energy transition.

(2) Environmental problems in energy transition.

(3) Ecological protection in energy transition.

(4) Energy transition and energy efficiency issues in economic structural transformation.

(5) The impact of financial support policies such as green finance and green credit on the sustainable development of energy.

(6) The consumer behavior changes under the energy clean transition.

(7) The role of energy transition in the construction of zero-carbon parks.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.
