Dear Colleagues,
This special edition offers a great opportunity for professionals and researchers in the fields of Toxinology and Molecular Biomedicine in two ways: first, for those who wish to share the results of their research projects with the worldwide; and second, for readers to enjoy, make use of, and take ownership of all this excellent information.
In the Toxinology field, there is an opportunity to share research related to venomous animals, their venom, and the toxins it contains, covering topics ranging from the biological characterization of venom and toxins to understanding their pathophysiological effects, biotechnological and pharmacological applications, to better understand, from biological, clinical, and epidemiological perspectives, the health problems they cause, as well as the application of proteomic and transcriptomic techniques on animal venom research.
In the field of Molecular Biomedicine, authors can share their research on the cellular, biochemical, and genetic mechanisms of diseases, the development of diagnostic methods, specialized treatments, targeted therapies, and molecular epidemiology, using basic molecular techniques, molecular genetics, sequencing, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, precision medicine, bioinformatics, and in silico prediction.
We invite authors to submit research articles, review articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses and rigorous bibliometric analyses in these scientific fields.

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Sci is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
