Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This issue aims at shedding new light on Minoan ritual and beliefs by using the language of images as a primary source and monuments as well as Linear B documents as important sources. Through a dialogue with past interpretations, the progress made in the field through spectacular new finds will be assessed. This special edition will hopefully bring important debates about Minoan religion, such as monotheism vs. polytheism, death rituals and festivals up to date.
