Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The use of technology in educational settings has provided great opportunities for teachers, students, researchers, administrators, and policymakers to improve teaching and learning at all levels of education, including religion and religious education. Teachers and students in religious education have also continued to find new ways of using innovative technologies to improve teaching and learning environments, using different technological resources such as social media to enhance their teaching and learning. The Covid-19 pandemic has further increased the use of technology in the instruction of religious education.
Thus, this Special Issue invites teachers, students, researchers, practitioners, and all other stakeholders from around the globe to advance the knowledge of technological usage in religious education. We welcome research articles, including quantitative and qualitative studies, review studies, and short discussions, that examine the use of technology in religious education at all levels of formal and informal education. The term religious education is understood here as the teaching and learning of either religion as a subject in general education or the principles of a particular religious faith. This Special Issue accepts articles from all religions of the world.
