Young Investigator Award

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Photonics 2022 Young Investigator Award is Prof. Dr. Chao Zuo.
Prof. Dr. Chao Zuo is a Professor of the School of Electronics and Optical Engineering at the Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing, China. He is also the founder and director of the Smart Computational Imaging Research Institute of NJUST. Prof. Dr. Chao Zuo’s research interests are in computational bio-imaging, noninterferometic phase retrieval, optical information processing, and high-speed 3D optical sensing. Prof. Dr. Chao Zuo received his Ph.D. in 2014 and has an outstanding publication record, which includes having published over 180 peer-reviewed journal publications and authored one book and one book chapter. He is a talented and outstanding scientist in the area of optical engineering. Please join us in congratulating Prof. Dr. Chao Zuo for his outstanding achievements.
As the awardee, Prof. Dr. Chao Zuo will receive an honorarium of CHF 1000, an offer to publish a paper free of charge before the end of 2023 in Photonics after peer-review, and an electronic certificate.
