Recruiting Editors for Membranes
Membranes is recruiting Editorial Board members for the following five sections:
- Membrane Preparation and Characterization
- Fundamentals of Membrane Processes
- Membrane Engineering and Applications
- Membrane Modeling and Simulation
- Membranes in Life Sciences
The journal is looking to expand the Editorial Board in order to cover areas that need additional representation by the current team. If you are interested in serving as an Academic Editor on the Editorial Board, or would like to recommend potential candidates, please reach out to us.
Membranes (ISSN 2077-0375) is an international peer-reviewed open access journal of membrane science and technology. It enjoys high visibility, since it is indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE—Web of Science), Scopus (CiteScore 3.28), Ei Compendex, SciFinder (CAS), Polymer Library and other databases. Citations are available in PubMed, and the full-text is archived in PubMed Central. The first impact factor will be received in June 2020 (JCR—Clarivate Analytics). The website of Membranes is available here.
Editorial Board members have the following responsibilities:
- Make decisions on whether a manuscript should be accepted based on the reports we collect (we will ask you to make decisions for about 5 papers per year).
- Provide suggestions in specific cases (e.g., comment on submissions with two or more different review opinions; respond to requests or questions from external experts).
- Supervise at least one Special Issue related to your research field (you can publish an extra paper for free) every two years.
- Recommend timely topics or appropriate conferences to attend.
- Promote Membranes at conferences that you attend or organize (materials, like flyers or business cards, can be designed and shipped to your office; conference attendees would enjoy special discounts).
To apply or request further information, please contact the Membranes Editorial Office ([email protected]). We look forward to hearing from you soon.
