MDPI Open Science Insights: Academic Publishing Workshop at International Scientific Conference M3-S, 29 May 2025

MDPI’s Membranes (ISSN: 2077-0375) is excited to collaborate with the International Scientific Conference M3-S to host an exclusive author workshop aimed at empowering researchers with the knowledge and tools needed for successful academic publishing. This workshop will delve into the key aspects of MDPI’s open access publishing framework, offering an in-depth exploration of journal selection, the editorial workflow, and the essentials of publication ethics. Participants will also gain practical advice on improving scientific writing and effectively addressing reviewer comments, with guidance from experienced professionals in the field. This session promises to equip attendees with valuable skills to elevate their publishing journey.

Speaker:

Mr. Michał Kula joined MDPI in March 2021. He holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in materials science, specialising in biomaterials and composites, from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Poland. He began his career at MDPI as an Assistant Editor for Membranes. Currently, he serves as a Group Leader, as well as the Journal Relations Specialist for Membranes, Magnetochemistry, Journal of Intelligence, Agrochemicals, and IJMS.
