Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The Journal of Cardiovascular Development and Disease is planning to launch a Special Issue (SI) titled “Feature Review Papers in Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease: 2nd Edition”, which focuses on stroke and cerebrovascular disease. This Special Issue will highlight recent developments in the pathophysiology, diagnosis and management of transient ischemic attack, ischemic stroke, intracerebral and subarachnoid hemorrhage and cerebral venous thrombosis. Topics for this Special Issue could include genetics, risk factors, epidemiology, imaging and other diagnostic tools, and various treatment modalities in the acute, subacute, and rehabilitative phases, as well as in the long-term. We invite review articles in these areas, and related topics, to assist clinicians and stroke researchers as they strive to better manage their patients. Additionally, novel and impactful knowledge that may reduce the risk, morbidity and mortality of this increasingly prevalent disease is welcome, helping to address the tremendous burdens on stroke survivors, family, community healthcare and social systems.
