Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
We invite you to contribute to this Special Issue titled Remote Interventions in Patients With Chronic Lung and Cardiovascular Diseases, organized by Healthcare. The global burden of chronic respiratory and cardiovascular conditions continues to grow, increasing demand for innovative, accessible, and cost-effective care models. Remote interventions, such as telehealth, telerehabilitation, and mobile health technologies, have emerged as vital tools for supporting the long-term management of these diseases, improving clinical outcomes, enhancing patient adherence, and reducing healthcare utilization.
This Special Issue will gather cutting-edge research and evidence-based approaches on the development, application, and effectiveness of remote interventions in pulmonary and cardiovascular care. Fitting the scope of Healthcare, we seek contributions that advance multidisciplinary, patient-centered, and technology-integrated care.
In this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Telemonitoring and virtual rehabilitation;
- Mobile health and wearable technologies;
- Remote patient education and behavior change;
- Digital health in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation;
- Pulmonary and cardiac telerehabilitation;
- Patient engagement and outcome assessment.
We look forward to receiving your valuable contributions.
