Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Advanced nursing practice represents a key driver of innovation and quality improvement within an increasingly complex healthcare landscape marked by ongoing challenges and rapid change. The implementation of evidence-based practice and the need for accurate, timely decision-making in modern healthcare systems highlight the urgency of advanced clinical expertise, strong educational and scientific foundations, and a high level of competence among nurses.

We are pleased to invite you to contribute to this Special Issue by providing evidence-based perspectives, research findings, and scientific results associated with advanced nursing practice. We particularly welcome submissions that reveal the importance of advanced nursing practice and models of care, educational strategies, and policies in clinical practice that promote innovation and improve health outcomes.

This Special Issue will showcase high-quality research, international perspectives, emerging trends, and future directions in advanced nursing practice across diverse innovative models of care.

For this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Systematic reviews and meta-analyses related to the implementation and the role of advanced nursing practice in clinical healthcare;
  • Epidemiological studies with a quantitative or qualitative design investigating advanced nursing practice care approaches in healthcare;
  • Studies on the topic of health professionals’ education regarding advanced nursing practice;
  • Studies investigating the competencies of nurses in clinical care;

  • Studies and manuscripts highlighting future directions in these subjects.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.
