As Editor-in-Chief of Fibers, I am pleased to announce the winners of the Fibers Travel Award 2020.

The Postdoc award was granted to Mustafa Raheem, a postdoctoral research fellow at Structural Engineering, Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS, USA;

The Ph.D. student award was granted to Manish Sharma, a Ph.D. student at École de technologie supérieure, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

It was a difficult decision with such high-quality applications for the awards, and we would like to thank all applicants for submitting their diverse and fascinating range of research topics. On behalf of the assessment committee, I congratulate the winners for their accomplishments. We are proud to support these two young scientists and wish further success in their career.
