Dear Colleagues,
Cerebrovascular disorders remain a major cause of mortality and long-term disability worldwide, imposing substantial clinical, social, and economic burdens. Population ageing, persistent vascular risk factors, and inequalities in access to timely care continue to increase the impact of these disorders. At the same time, advances in neuroimaging, biomarkers, artificial intelligence, endovascular procedures, and precision medicine are creating new opportunities to improve outcomes across the continuum of care.
This Special Issue, "Early Diagnosis and Emerging Therapies in Cerebrovascular Disorders", aims to present and disseminate recent advances in early diagnosis, prevention, and treatment. We welcome the submission of original research articles, reviews, and clinical studies that address innovative diagnostic approaches, emerging therapeutic strategies, translational research, and patient-centred care.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Risk assessment and early diagnosis;
- Advanced neuroimaging and biomarkers;
- Artificial intelligence and predictive modelling;
- Acute stroke interventions;
- Pharmacological and endovascular therapies;
- Secondary prevention;
- Neurorehabilitation and recovery;
- Precision medicine and translational research.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Clinics and Practice is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
