Travel Award

Dear Colleagues,

As Editor-in-Chief of Chemosensors, I am pleased to announce the two winners of the Travel Award 2017 sponsored by Chemosensors. Travel Award were granted to Dr. Xiangcheng Sun, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Cornell University, and Dr. Kiran Kumar Tadi, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The awards consist of 800 Swiss Francs each to attend any academic conference during 2017.

Dr. Xiangcheng Sun’s research involves single molecule visualization of living polymerization catalysis, fluorescent carbon dots through single molecule methods, and small fluorescent organic molecules synthesis and their polymerization. He will attend the 2017 Materials Research Society (MRS) Fall Meeting and Exhibit Annual Meeting, 26 November–1 December 2017, in Boston, MA, USA.

Dr. Kiran Kumar Tadi’s work focuses on peptide-based sensors, and surface-assembled monolayers. He will present his new findings at the prestigious international conference, Bio-Security and Bio-Sensors Summit 2017, which will be held at Coronado Island, California, USA, 2 October 2017–4 October 2017.
