Regenerative Economies

A section of Challenges (ISSN 2078-1547).

Section Information

This section of Challenges is focused on how regenerative business and wellbeing economies can improve prosperity and well-being for all. Business plays a crucial role in addressing or exacerbating our global challenges, including worsening health crises, socio-political conflicts, and mounting threats to natural environments and planetary systems. There are growing concerns that current economic models which prioritize GDP and endless financial growth through finite resource consumption are not sustainable. In this section, we seek to explore how regenerative businesses, supported by economic models more focused on wellbeing can drive this shift toward regenerative, not destructive, growth, for a world that supports prosperity and flourishing all of life.

We aim to publish regular research papers, viewpoints and reviews on topics relevant to any aspect of regenerative economies, regenerative business and wellbeing economies. All authors should clearly articulate the relevance of their work to advancing planetary health.
