Young Investigator Award

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Biosensors 2022 Young Investigator Award is Prof. Dr. Stefano Cinti.
Prof. Dr. Stefano Cinti is an Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the University of Naples Federico II, Italy. Prof. Dr. Stefano Cinti’s research interests include the development of electrochemical sensors, paper-based devices, nanomotors, and nanomaterials, applied to user-friendly analytical chemistry in the clinical, pharmaceutical, environmental, and agri-food sectors. Prof. Dr. Stefano Cinti received his PhD in 2015 and has an outstanding publication record, comprising 70 articles, 6 chapters in books, and 2 proceedings, with an H-Index of 31. He is clearly a rising star in the field of biosensors. As a single applicant, Prof. Stefano Cinti has secured funding of more than EUR 752k since 2017. This is an outstanding achievement in today’s competitive environment. Please join us in congratulating Prof. Dr. Stefano Cinti on his outstanding achievements.
As the awardee, Prof. Dr. Stefano Cinti will receive an honorarium of CHF 2000, an offer to publish a paper free of charge before the end of 2023 in Biosensors after peer-review, and an electronic certificate.
