Young Investigator Award

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Biosensors 2021 Young Investigator Award is Dr. Amay J. Bandodkar.
Dr. Amay J. Bandodkar is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, USA. His research interests are in non-traditional, tissue-integrated biosensors for wearable, implants, and organoids applications, next-generation energy harvesters and energy storage systems for wearable and implantable biosensors, stretchable electronics, and unconventional fabrication processes. He received his PhD in 2016 and has an outstanding publication record, comprising 57 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and 6 international patents. His Hirsch index is 41. He is clearly a rising star in the field of biosensors. This is an outstanding achievement in today’s competitive environment. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Amay J. Bandodkar for his outstanding achievements.
As the awardee, Dr. Amay J. Bandodkar will receive an honorarium of 2000 CHF, an offer to publish a paper free of charge before the end of 2022 in Biosensors after peer review, and an engraved plaque.
