Atmosphere Travel Award—Winner Announced

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Atmosphere Travel Award is Dr. Luis Angel Espinosa.
Dr. Luis Angel Espinosa received his M.Sc. in water and environmental management from the University of Bristol, England, followed by an Erasmus Mundus M.Sc. in ecohydrology from CAU Kiel, Germany. Recently, he completed his Ph.D. in civil engineering as part of the H2DOC doctoral program between IST and the National Civil Engineering Laboratory (LNEC). His research primarily addresses hydrological extremes and climate change, focusing on climate-induced extremes in North Atlantic small islands. Dr. Espinosa has extensive expertise in data mining techniques used to analyze trends and characteristics relevant to hydrology and climate research. Winning the Travel Award is an outstanding achievement in today’s competitive environment. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Luis Angel Espinosa.
As the awardee, Dr. Luis Angel Espinosa will receive an honorarium of CHF 800 and an electronic certificate.
