Applied Biosciences Receives Its First CiteScore of 2.9


We are pleased to share that Applied Biosciences (ISSN: 2813-0464) has been awarded its first CiteScore of 2.9 in June 2025, following its inclusion in Scopus (Elsevier) in 2024. The CiteScore ranks the journal 11 out of 38 titles (Q2) in the “Immunology and Microbiology (miscellaneous)” category, 79 out of 231 titles (Q2) in the “Agricultural and Biological Sciences (miscellaneous)” category, and 57 out of 125 titles (Q2) in the “Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology (miscellaneous)” category—an impressive achievement for a journal now in its fourth volume.

The current CiteScores measure the average number of citations within a journal over a four-year window (2021–2024). The Scopus database provides a comprehensive suite of metrics that support informed publishing strategies, research evaluation, and benchmarking of journal performance.

This achievement reflects the collective efforts of our authors, reviewers, and editors.
