Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The reproductive physiology of dairy cows is a critical area of research that directly impacts the efficiency and sustainability of dairy production. Understanding the complex interactions between physiological, environmental, and management factors is essential for optimizing reproductive performance, which, in turn, influences milk production, animal welfare, and farm profitability. Recent advances in reproductive technologies, precision farming, and genetic selection offer new opportunities for enhancing reproductive outcomes in dairy herds.

This Special Issue aims to bring together cutting-edge research and comprehensive reviews that explore the latest developments and challenges in dairy cow reproduction. Our focus is on innovative strategies to improve fertility, manage reproductive disorders, and integrate new technologies into reproductive management practices. By aligning with the journal’s scope, this Special Issue seeks to provide valuable insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers involved in dairy production.

In this Special Issue, we welcome original research articles, reviews, and case studies. Research areas may include, but are not limited to, reproductive physiology, reproductive technologies, hormonal regulation, estrus detection, postpartum health, and precision livestock farming.
