A Feature Paper should be a substantial original Article that involves several techniques or approaches, provides an outlook for future research directions and describes possible research applications.
Feature papers are submitted upon individual invitation or recommendation by the scientific editors and must receive positive feedback from the reviewers.
Editor’s Choice articles are based on recommendations by the scientific editors of MDPI journals from around the world. Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. It is our great pleasure to announce that Actuators (ISSN 2076-0825) has been accepted for inclusion in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) in the Web of Science Core Collection. Actuators is due to receive its 2019 journal metrics in the June 2020 release of the Journal Citation ReportsTM (Clarivate Analytics).
Actuators (ISSN 2076-0825; CODEN: ACTUC3) is an international peer-reviewed open access journal on the science and technology of actuators and control systems published quarterly online by MDPI. The Editorial Board of Actuators currently consists of 55 members. Prof. Dr. Delbert Tesar is acting as the Editor in Chief of journal Actuators. Currently, it is indexed in ESCI and Scopus, and its CiteScore 2018 (Scopus) is 2.80, which equals rank 9/92 (Q1) in “Control and Optimization” and rank 60/232 in “Control and Systems Engineering”.
Actuators performs rapid and thorough peer review. A first decision is provided to authors within 14.6 days after submission; acceptance to publication is undertaken in 3.9 days (median values for papers published in this journal in the first half of 2019).
