As a highly prevalent metabolic disorder, obesity is not merely a physical abnormality; it harbors a range of underlying complications that pose a serious threat to human health. Exploring the underlying mechanisms linking obesity to its associated complications, as well as developing preventive strategies and clinical interventions, remains a key area of research in the medical field today. The Journal of Clinical Medicine (JCM, ISSN: 2077-0383), an open access journal, is pleased to share our recent highly cited papers on obesity.
