The Journal retracts the article titled, “A Differential Datalog Interpreter” [1], cited above. This retraction notice supersedes and replaces the Expression of Concern published on 6 May 2024.
Following publication, concerns were brought to the publisher’s attention regarding an overlap with unpublished material produced by a different authorship group as well as concerns regarding the accuracy of the affiliation listed in the original publication [1].
In accordance with standard journal procedures, the Editorial Office and Editorial Board conducted an investigation that confirmed a significant overlap with the above-mentioned unpublished material, without appropriate acknowledgement. In addition and following communication with the relevant institution, the affiliation listed in the original publication was confirmed to be inaccurate. As a result, the independent Editorial Board has decided to retract this article as per MDPI’s retraction policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Software.
The author has been informed of this retraction and has indicated his disagreement with this decision.
