Cover Story: This volume of conference proceedings aims to gather the papers presented at the 1st International Electronic Conference on Clinical Medicine, held on 15–30 September 2021 online. This event aims to bring together researchers working in the field of clinical medicine, to present and discuss their recent contributions. This conference will address and promote all the multidisciplinary aspects of clinical medicine. The topics of interest include but are not limited to cardiology, gastroenterology and hepatopancreatobiliary medicine, neurology and stroke neurology and clinical psychology, etc. In this way, ECCM 2021 will serve as a platform for advancing the state of the art in clinical medicine.
