This work is devoted to an important field of thermal analysis, particularly non-isothermal kinetics, and reviews a thermal inertia concept. The manuscript is written clearly and quite understandable. Fundamental concepts and historical evolution of thermal inertia understanding are presented. Only a few corrections may improve this manuscript: 1. Lines 84-94 and 148-158: the text is duplicated. 2. Figure 2: Mistake in numbering.
