Cover Story: Male infertility affects over 186 million people globally. Assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs) and artificial intelligence (AI) have transformed diagnosis and treatment. An extensive review of PubMed, Google Scholar, and Scopus explored AI techniques like machine learning (ML), artificial neural networks (ANNs), deep learning (DL), and natural language processing (NLP) in assessing seminal quality, predicting fertility, and improving semen analysis. AI models accurately estimate semen quality, diagnose sperm issues, and guide reproductive health decisions. Innovations like smartphone-based semen analyzers and computer-assisted semen analysis (CASA) enhance cost, portability, and accuracy. AI promises to revolutionize male infertility diagnosis and treatment, offering standardized, objective, and efficient solutions to this global health issue. View this paper
