Editor-in-Chief of Eng-Advances in Engineering.
In recent decades, there has been a significant increase in industrial production and global demand for materials and technology; a situation that has created immediate environmental needs. This situation in which we find ourselves today makes it necessary for researchers in different fields of engineering to need, to create alliances and share knowledge, to meet the requirements included in the so-called circular economy.
Researchers around the world are aware of this new reality, and are making significant efforts to address these new challenges demanded by society, as evidenced by the increasing number of high-quality publications in academic journals. The scientific community needs these ideas and works to be disseminated and presented in an efficient way, and so ways are sought to share new findings and maximize their impacts, especially in those fields in which the difficulty of the problems to be addressed makes them multidisciplinary groups; those that collaborate with common challenges and objectives.
With the kind support of MDPI, I am pleased to announce a new open access journal, Eng-Advances in Engineering, to respond to this growing demand for reliable platforms, for the rapid dissemination of high-quality work in the field of engineering. Eng-Advances in Engineering will publish original research articles and critical reviews, among other papers, with a special emphasis on works that have been carried out in collaboration between multidisciplinary and international teams, in all areas of the engineering discipline.
On behalf of the Editorial Board, I invite you to submit your manuscripts, review papers and suggestions for Special Issues to Eng-Advances in Engineering, and I am looking forward to receiving your contributions.
