We are delighted to welcome the Journal of Interdisciplinary Research Applied to Medicine (JDReAM) [1] into our portfolio.
Founded in 2017, JDReAM has been the official journal of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Applied Research in Medicine (DReAM) at the University of Salento, in collaboration with the Local Health Authority (ASL) of Lecce. From its inception, it was published as a biannual open-access journal. Publication paused in 2021, and the journal has since been dormant.
We are pleased to announce the revival of JDReAM with the publication of Volume 6. The journal will continue under the leadership of the previous Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Michele Maffia, together with Prof. Prisco Piscitelli, whose pivotal role made the transfer of JDReAM to MDPI possible. Importantly, the journal will remain the official publication of the DReAM laboratory.
JDReAM welcomes high-quality manuscripts that explore the integration of medicine with diverse scientific and humanistic disciplines. We warmly invite authors to submit their work through the MDPI submission system.
We are excited to embark on this new chapter for JDReAM and look forward to collaborating with the editorial board, authors, and the wider research community to advance interdisciplinary scholarship in medicine.
