Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Very interesting paper. At a time, when data on catch and effort is one of the major lacunas in implementing appropriate management measures, such studies with a sound methodology and output is the need of he hour. Documenting the biomass and catch data based on different type of fisheries as seen in this paper can go a long way in sound management of common and open access fishery resources. Check for grammartical and spelling errors and English language for corrections if any.

Reviewer 2 Report

This is an interesting stuy showing the characteristics of recreational fishing at sea in Israel. The study is well designed and in my opinion, results are very interesting.

The structure of the manuscript is good and no significant changes are required.

This manuscript will be a very good starting point to monitor the characteristics and possible impact of recreational fishing in Israel Sea.
