Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This is a well written and organized manuscript to explore that what degree climate and LUCC affect stream discharge at the catchment scale in humid tropical mountain watersheds. The comments are given as below.

1.   In Figure 1, the authors can identify that where the Atirro watershed is.

2.   The north direction can be added in Figure 2.

3.   The author can highlight the novelty of this study.

4.  In 3.1 Model Performance, the authors presented one-year simulation results compared to observations. Do authors have the other one-year data for model validation?

5.    The advantages and limitations of this study can be discussed.

The quality of English language is acceptable.

Reviewer 2 Report

The notations and descriptions on Fig.1 should be corrected.

If possible provide a color version of Fig. 2

The paper would benefit from a more comprehensive description of the implemented model.

There are some text formatting issues in the Conclusion that need to be addressed (parts of sentences are in different text styles).

It would also help the paper if the Authors could outline it more what is the main contribution of the research.

Round 2

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors have diligently addressed my previous comments, and it appears that the revised manuscript has already been prepared for publication.

Author Response

Based on the most recent reply, it appears Reviewer 1 has no further comments and has approved the manuscript for publication.
