Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The manuscript presents interesting data and approach on the Evaluation of Production Process Efficiency of Provincial Greenhouse Vegetables in China Using Data Envelopment Analysis, please find below my suggestions:

- the manuscript require an English mother-tongue revision;

- line 18: use "researchers" instead of "Scholars", please do it in all the manuscript;

- the Results are not so well exposed, some sentences are not clear, please revise it.

Reviewer 2 Report

(1) The work analyzes and optimizes the production process efficiency of greenhouse vegetables from the perspective of green and sustainable development by using data envelopment analysis, which is of good significance.
(2) The practical significance of the focused problem is suggested to be highlighted in the Introduction.
(3) In the methodology and data source, up-to-date studies which address the similar problem should be introduced.
(4) More explanations on formulas (17)-(18) are suggested to be added, in order to make these dry formulas more understandable.
(5) In Section 3, the font size of some Figures should be adjusted appropriately to make the graphic information clearer, such as Figure 2.
(6) The work is suggested to be properly reduced, especially in the Section 3. It is enough if the effectiveness is verified.
(7) Some references are not complete, which are lake of the volume information, such as [6].
(8) Some syntax errors or improper expressions exist, such as the “So the fixed value variable of land area is neglected.…” on Page 6. Please double-check the English.
