- This is a good application of spatial optimization method to tackle a societal issue - population aging and the elder's welfare in China's context.

- I doubt whether it has compelling methodological originality. The proposed optimization problem (Community Senior Friendly Restaurants Location Problem) is rather simple but seems to able to be more generalized into different contexts. The problem itself could be not just of the elders' dining location but also of other marginalized population, such as the disabled. For example, a location problem to choose an optimal location of the welfare facilities for the disabled would have a very similar context to the problem mentioned here. I think the issue mentioned in this paper is an excellent motivation but too "local" and narrow.

- I would expand the problem using p-center and p-median problems in the former part of the utility function, and wonder why the authors did not do so.

- I did not have difficulty in following the article; the paper is well organized, and no critical grammatical errors were found.

·         Introduction needs to be revised, including the problem identification and research gaps.

·         Text citation and reference is required for figure 2.

·         Experimental details, simulation environment, measuring parameters etc. need to be added.

·         Author may refer following works for location recommendations: [i] How can we create a recommender system for tourism? ·         Line no. 246, notations may be defined in a table.

·         Methodology is the not discussed systematically.

·         There enough is not detailed to replicate the study.

·         More detailed explanation of the proposed method is required with the computational complex analysis.
