The present manuscript entitled 'Surprising Tribo-Catalytic Degradation of Concentrated Methyl Orange Solutions Enhanced by Silicon Single Crystals as Coatings' showed the tribo-catalytic effect achieved by using silicon single crystals as coatings. The observed effect was then applied to the degradation reaction of methyl orange solution. Even though methyl orange degradations are already studied in detail, this paper is interesting and the presented approach may be applicable to the degradation of other harmful azo dyes degradation.

However, I suggest some improvements to this work:

1. Grammar and spelling should be checked.

2. The description of the Si coating deposition process should be added in Chapter 2. Materials and Methods.

3. The recyclability study should be done for Al2O3 particles and Si coating.

4. In Chapter 3., below Fig. 3., the authors have stated: 'Clearly, more additional magnetic stirring time was still needed to degrade these byproducts into non-toxic and harmless water and CO2.' Why haven't You tried to stir the solution for more than 150 min?

The reviewer's comments in the PDF file need to be corrected. (attach)

Provide references noted by the reviewer in the text for justification.

It is necessary to correct the conclusions of the article once again.

Comments for author File: Comments.pdf

In a scientific article, the use of bright epithets and the presence of unnecessary information not related to the topic is unacceptable. There is also no place for emotional overtones in a scientific article.

Taking into account the above, you need to build the English language.
