The subject addressed is very interesting, especially in the current context where a food crisis is being discussed more and more often. In order to improve the research, I proposed to the authors a series of observations and recommendations, as follows:
ABSTRACT: In summary, the authors scored the conclusions of the study very well, but it would be necessary to clearly emphasize the purpose of the study, its objectives and the main research methods.
INTRODUCTION: The authors should approach the specialized literature and other studies that analyze the impact of the establishment of agricultural development programs based on Science and Technology, in different states of the world.
The situation of agricultural development policies should also be explained before 2001, when China decided to implement National Agricultural Science and Technology Parks, precisely so that the reader can understand comparatively the changes that occurred in the agricultural sector.
RESULTS: In addition to the statistical analysis, I would recommend the authors to insist in detail on the effects of the applicability of the National Agricultural Science and Technology Parks program (effects on the population, effects on productivity, etc. or negative effects, if they exist). It is necessary to analyze the territorial disparities, emphasizing the positive effects, but also the limitations within the counties.
Congratulations to the authors considering that the research is interesting and addresses a current topic, the authors succeeding in a detailed analysis.
