Soil Moisture and Temperature Effects on Granule Dissolution and Urease Activity of Urea with and without Inhibitors—An Incubation Study
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
In this paper, the effects of soil temperature and humidity on urea dissolution and urease activity in the presence of inhibitors were studied. The experimental design was good, the results was well presented and detailed analyzed, and full discussion had been carried out. In my opinion, the results of this study can arouse the interest of researchers who subject on soil nitrogen cycle. This paper has a good guiding significance for the study of urea transformation in soil.

1. Units should be correct as superscript.
2. How did apply the urease and nitrification inhibitors?
3. Dissolution of urea tested on soil surface with different moisture and temperature regimes, but the mixing of the urea granules with soil may give different results, and that is the practice of urea application in soil.
In title : "An incubation study" should be added.
There are some queries mentioned on text of the manuscript for clarity of the observations.
Overall, efforts of authors are good but paper may accept only after revision of the paper as per comments.
