In this investigation, the analyses carried out indicated that to achieve the provisions of sustainable materials engineering, it is necessary to use waste construction materials. This will not only avoid the landfill of waste concrete, but also save natural resources that would have to be used to produce new building materials. These waste materials, due to the high percentage of older buildings, will not only be readily available in the near future, but will be a major problem due to the need for storage. In this regard, this study will be beneficial to the literature. It can be accepted after minor changes.

1.     Language should be reviewed in general. Some places are difficult to understand by the reader.

2.     In line 106, produce words should be rewritten.

3.     Table 1 was obtained from somewhere or not my account of the authors? if so, it should be cited

4.     In table 3, it should be added  “doi.org/10.1016/j.jmrt.2023.05.094”.

5.     In section 2, authors said that “To perform the experimental investigations, the cement was exchanged with WGP with weight percentage of 10%, 20% and 30%”. What is the basis for such selection?

6.     Conclusion is so long. It should be given more specific results and discussions.

7.     References should be updated. Especially authors should add the extra new researches.

It is a very good manuscript and shows good foresight in the reuse of materials in construction. However, in my opinion, it is more like a report than a scientific paper. Therefore, I believe that it needs more scientific data and interpretations. In addition, there are following items that the author should edit them before publishing.

1- On page 2 line 62, the number of survey is not okay for a scientific paper and it should be developed. 

2- Related to Figure 2, it is better to add the number of people selected each item. 

3- Add appropriate reference to Figures 3, 4, 5, and 7. 

4- Add appropriate reference to Tables 1, 2. 

5- On page 8 line 256, this type of refer to several references in one sentence is not okay in scientific paper. It is necessary to explain each reference in details.

The revised manuscript is far better than the original version. The authors tried to use all the reviewers' comments in the editing of the article and also responded to the comments. Finally, the article is ready to be published in the journal and the only concern of the reviewer is the number of people who participated in the survey and I still believe that this number of statistics is insufficient to write a scientific article. However, I leave the decision on this matter to the Assistant editor.
