1. Correction in Text
There was an error in the original publication. The authors mistakenly wrote “NREL Phase VI turbine are conducted” [1].
A correction has been made to the first paragraph of Section 3:
“In this research, two-dimensional simulations were performed using both S809 and S1223 airfoils.”
There was an error in the original publication. The authors mistakenly wrote “on the blade surface was 0.5, which is below the stipulated threshold of one”.
A correction has been made to the last paragraph in Section 3.2:
“To ensure that the mesh satisfied the requisite near-wall spacing, the Y+ value was assessed on the blade surface at a nominal speed of 12 m/s. As illustrated in Figure 8, the maximum Y+ value on the majority of the blade surface was less than two. Furthermore, another criterion involved an examination of the vortices generated around the turbine blade.”
2. Error in Figure Caption
In the original publication, there was a mistake in the caption of Figures 13 and 15. The authors mistakenly wrote “S1223”, instead of “seagull” [1].
The correct caption appears below:
“Figure 13. Pressure contours on the suction surface of NREL-based blade with seagull airfoil.”
“Figure 15. Pressure contours on the pressure surface of NREL-based blade with seagull airfoil.”
The authors state that the scientific conclusions are unaffected. This correction was approved by the Academic Editor. The original publication has also been updated.
