Good paper. 

Not enough analysis and comments on table 3. The means on 7 years are not appropriate. See the trends! It's clear that sole maize represent a dangerous evolution on income due in my opinion to the soil degradation. Develop more the paragraph.

The study area is not close from other site in VN. For example, Hai Duong is famous for high quality longan fruit. It will be interesting to introduce some comparison between Longan produce in study research area and Longan Hai Duong performance in my opinion. Same consideration with maize.

You explain that soil in the study area has slope more then 15% in the introduction, but you never consider these variable after! Why?

I appreciate if you can integrate more comments on soil preservation benefits! It's an evidence that sole maize will have an very negative externality on soil protection. Please develop a little more these problem.
