Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Revision / Manuscript ID: 762157

The Authors presented very comprehensive research that takes into account a wide variety of factors.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Major concerns:

Introduction:

The Manuscript's content of broad international interest but Authors did not underlined local interest.

Results:

For figures: Generally Figures and Tables are clear but

Table 1 must be corrected (completed)

See also Figure S1 – the scale should be corrected to see the difference between the control and inoculated plants.

Discussion:

Authors should indicate the Tables numbers and Figures numbers, where ever required (where ever the results are mentioned).

Page 18 lines 432-434: Liao et all (2017) indicated that M. brunneum produced the IAA but the Authors did not research the ability of both tested strains (B. bassiana and M. brunneum) so it is hard to suggest that only M. brunneum 20784 could also synthetize IAA in this study.

References:

The ‘References’ part generally is prepared in accordance with the principles of editing but correct also line: 602; 673; 691.

Minor concerns:

Page 1-2 The scietific names of species must be italicized.

Many parts of the Manuscript are written in different font size.

Reviewer 2 Report

The Manuscript " Soil nutrients effects on the performance of durum wheat inoculated with entomopathogenic fungi” is an interesting article that can have a positive impact in crop performance study using biocontrols. However, the present manuscript is poorly written, I am confused at many parts. See highlights and comments in the attached file. I begin losing the interest in the manuscript after going through methods and results since there is a high number of mistakes and unclear sentences and purpose. I would suggest authors to clarify the significance of the study for wheat crop and why this plant was selected.
