Round 1

  • The N2 adsorption isotherms and pore size distribution of all support and catalysts should be added in the manuscript in order to disscuss in deep the change and the effect of textural properties of catalysts in tar conversion.
  • Can authors explain whats is the main factor afftect on the performance of you catalyst in tar conversion
  • Why author didnt try to study the effect of the basicity and acidity of catalysts on tar conversion...!!?
  • The conversion of naphtaline can produce some intermidiate have you an idea about the mechanism of conversion ?
  • All curves and images should be redraw it to increase its quality and resolution ...

First of all, I would like to thank the editor for offering to revise this very interesting article.

I think it would be interesting to publish such results. However, before publication, it would be necessary to make some changes:

  • pay attention to fig number there is no fig 8 or 17 for example
  • the authors should also specify the decomposition products as conversion is not sufficient.
