  1. The authors adopt LCA to assess the actual impacts of “AI for green”.
And, this paper shows that the current environmental evaluation of AI services is underestimated.
  2. There is an unnecessary “the” in Line 387.

Reviewer 3 Report

This is undoubtedly a very innovative paper and I like it very much, this paper is very simple to read, which makes me deeply inspired. Technological Sustainability is an interesting content in this paper, and this paper discusses the potential impact of ai solutions on the environment.

I have read this paper over and over again for a long time, and I will spend some time to read it every day, because this paper is very novel and can cause readers to think deeply.   After I read this paper, I wonder if we need to continue developing AI solutions from an environmental perspective.

This paper is excellent and full of work, especially parts 4 and 5, which have no need of revision at all and are perfect in my opinion, but may need some minor revisions.   The author can refer to the suggestions of other reviewers to modify these two parts.

There are a few small things I need to mention:

1.  In my opinion, parts 1, 2 and 3 are each very short and can be put together into one part, or two parts.

2.  The discussion section is well written, but I wish the author could add a conclusion section to summarize the whole paper.

I have no other suggestions, but I still hope the author can continue to study this direction, which I think is very valuable.

Good luck!
