Comments

L 14-15: You mention that 409 articles are used whereas only 140 are cited.

L 35-37: “are responsible” or “are supposed to be responsible”. If it is still a supposition, use the second form!

L 38-39: Homicides are not contributing to ill health! Review the logic of your text.

L 44: is responsible” or “is supposed to be responsible”. If it is still a supposition, use the second form!

L 106-107: As noted in the abstract 409 papers are used but only 140 are cited.

L 136: All the acronyms used need to be carefully defined, for example TPM is half defined, onl4.y 6 lines latter and VOC not all! This remark applied also to other numerous acronyms used in this text!

L 156-163: Not clear: there are 2 different graphs on Fig.3, which difference is not explained, either in the caption nor in the text?

L 165: Here and elsewhere, give the meaning of the numbers in the acronyms (for ex. PM2.5) when it first appears!

L 170: “The hazard quotient (HQ) due to PM2.5 …” or “The hazard quotient (HQ) associated to PM2.5”? You attribute very easily causalities!

L 186: Give the meaning of the numbers associated to PM in the caption of Fig.

L 271: “detection”.

L 273: Define “RVOCs and TVOCs”.

L 284-285: Repetition! Suppress the whole sentence: “The obtained results confirm this.”

L 470-497: The conclusion is very factual and gives a rather puzzling view of Indoor Air Quality in Industrial Environments. Based on this large bibliographic study, we would like the authors provide a more synthetic conclusion allowing to guide future researches in that field.

Dear Authors,

After reading your paper, I have some suggestions and advice.

Please put attention to the corruption problem. In the introduction, where the authors mention poor (low-income) countries, it is also worth noting the problem of corruption. I suggest you read the article Environmental pollution as a threats to the ecology and development in Guinea Conakry. Environmental Protection and Natural Resources/Ochrona Środowiska i Zasobów Naturalnych, 28(4), 27-32. There is also often a feeling among the inhabitants that the situation of pollution and economic problems is normal for developing countries.

The authors wrote about Ethiopia. Please note that the population in Ethiopia is 115 million, therefore 174,000 jobs are a fraction of a percent. Please verify data using official sources. It is impossible for the textile industry to generate only 174,000 jobs.

In this sentence please make citation: The data indicate that poor air quality is one of the largest envi- 50 ronmental contributors to the poor health of individuals. Maybe the Authors can read Indoor air pollution in developing countries: a major environmental and public health challenge. Bulletin of the World Health Organization, 78(9), 1078-1092. or others

Please complete the mentioned issues: corruption, and the mentality of societies in low-developed countries, and check the data on Ethiopia.

Results and interpretation

Method is not well reflected in the abstract. Please revise

-Introduction lines 25-76

Literature review should be updated to 2022 and internationalized

Please analyses critically the findings of the articles and the limitations.

Please indicate also at least tree similar article to your research published recently (last 5 years).

Aim of the study is not very well expressed. Please revise

Material and Method

Flowchart of the used methodology is required, please insert

Table 2-line 120: data source to be inserted and please update the data to 2022

Table 3 line 121-please insert the datasource.

Results and discussion

Fig 2. Line 131. Please insert the datasource. On the horizontal axis please type correct the chemical formula of the pollutants (e.g. NO2  not NO2)

How original is the topic?

Is an actual topic even it is not very original; but important subject especially in the post pandemic period

What does it add to the subject
area compared with other published material?

The paper should be better documented (number of 141 scientific published articles in references list for a paper who dealt with A Bibliographic Analysis), very few updated to 2022.

Is the paper well written?

The paper is well written. The quality of English translation is good.

Is the text clear and easy to read?

The text is well structured, clear and easy to read from the specialists in the field but as well as from the persons from public.
