We first planned to launch the journal Nutraceuticals in 2007 and obtained ISSN: 1661-3821 for Nutraceuticals on 28 March 2007. After a very lengthy preparation, we formally declare the start of this journal in 2021.
We have the journals Nutrients [1] and Pharmaceuticals [2]. We have been running a section called Bioactives and Nutraceuticals for the International Journal of Molecular Sciences (ISSN: 1422-0067) [3]. It will be good to start the interdisciplinary journal Nutraceuticals related to nutrition, food and medicine.
Prof. Dr. Luisa Tesoriere accepted our invitation to fill the position of the Editor-in-Chief of Nutraceuticals [4]. We are looking forward to running this journal to be a leading forum for the authors and readers active in the nutraceutical research fields.
As with the running of other MDPI journals, we will maintain a fast and rigorous peer review process [5] for Nutraceuticals. We hope that you will enjoy publishing with us.
