Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Great work and thank you for clear descriptions and differentiation of the two aspects of GN disease. This would be a great source of understanding the pathophysiology of GN especially post kidney transplant nephropathy.

The quality of the English language is acceptable, but needs minor grammatical correction.

・Comments on the Quality of English Language

The quality of the English language is acceptable, but needs minor grammatical correction.

Thank you very much for your positive comments to our manuscript. As you pointed out, we realized that minor grammatical correction is necessary. So, we asked an English proofreading company to improve our English in the manuscript. Moreover, the layout of the Table 1 and Table 2 have also been sufficiently modified.

Reviewer 2 Report

The presented review is an important work where authors try to gather avaialable literature data in order to help the differentiation of infection-related glomerulonephritis and complement C3 glomerulopathies. The work is concise, with represenatative and interesting histology / immunohistochemistry data. These figures are of very good quality. The last summary figure is especially helpful for physicians showing which markers could be considered in the differential diagnosis of the two clinical entities.

The only minor issue is the need for a thorough English grammar check-up. Singular/plural is mixed several times, as well as verbs used in indicative context can be seen sometimes ("eg: ...identified as causing proteins for...").
