Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Overall, the paper is well-written and provides comprehensive information on the study's main findings. Here are my comments:

  1. To improve the readability and clarity of your text, consider using an online writing and editing tool or consulting with a native speaker.

  2. Please ensure that the abstract clearly states the aim of your study.

  3. Figure 8 has a low resolution and should be replaced with a higher quality version.

  4. There are some marks made directly on the manuscript that should be addressed before submission.

Author Response

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. Here are my responses:

Response 1: We will find native English speakers to revise the grammar, spelling, punctuation and phrasing of our manuscript to improve its readability and clarity before submitting a new manuscript.

Response 2: We will clarify the aim of our study in the abstract in the new manuscript.

Response 3: Figure 8 will be replaced with a higher quality version in the new manuscript.

Response 4: Thank you for your modifications. We will revise them one by one before submission.

Reviewer 2 Report

In the manuscript entitled "Effects of Low Temperature on Pedicel Abscission and Auxin Synthesis Key Genes of Tomato", Sida Meng and coll. presented an articolated study on the effects of low temperature (day and night) on tomato plant. The effects are evaluated at different levels of plant features and at molecular (gene expression) level, with integration of experimental approach and bioinformatics analysis. Methods appear applied properly, results well presented and discussed. As a minor point, I reccommend to improve the quality of figure 8, as it is very difficult to read without enlarging tools on the screen, and a check for the most recent literature on the topic, at least for a more complete state-of-the-art presentation under Introduction section.

No relevant comment about the quality of English, that appears suitable for the publication of the article.

Author Response

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. We will replace Figure 8 with a higher quality version in the newly submitted manuscript to improve readability. We will add the latest literature of the topic in the introduction section before submission.
