Given the opportunity to guest edit SIs in Nanomaterials has enabled me to crystallise my genuine view (since 2000) that nanoscale effects have to be better understood with time for the continual collective advancement of the field. It was my honor and great pleasure to be the guest Editor of the Special Issue of Nutrients entitled “Dietary Habits, Beneficial Exercise, and Chronic Diseases: Latest Advances and Prospects”. The scope of this issue was the relationship between dietary habits (macronutrients, micronutrients, meal frequency, etc.) and/or exercise with metabolic, cardiovascular, neurological, mental, rheumatic, inflammatory, gastrointestinal, odontostomatological, and other chronic diseases. This Special Issue can be valuable to any scientist or clinician working in the field of medicine, nutrition, and exercise. This valuable contribution could only be realized thanks to the high-quality contributions of the authors. I had prepared the brochure information and searched for potential authors based on preliminary information sent from MDPI’s staff, and personally contacted researchers in the field to suggest them to publish on the SI. Additional activities were e-mail notification and manuscript review processing. It was a new experience in my field and I was happy with this challenge. I acknowledge the MDPI personnel (Mirabelle Wang) for her full support to reach our goal.
